Banana Pudding

This simple dessert only requires 4 (technically 5) ingredients to make - and it's completely no-bake, which makes it very easy to throw together last minute. I'm not a huge fan of pudding, but I've been craving banana pudding for the past week, so I knew I had to make some. As you can see, I used a plastic container to store my pudding in, but an 8x8 pan or a similar dish that holds at least 7 cups should work well.

Ingredients:
Cool whip (16 oz.), thawed
Instant vanilla pudding mix (5 oz. package)
Vanilla wafer cookies (from an 11 oz. box, I only used half)
3 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions:
Begin by mixing your pudding as directed on the box. Place the pudding in the fridge to finish setting. Crumble your vanilla wafer cookies (I used a plastic bag and a rolling pin, but a food processor would work great too). Only use about half the bag of cookies.
Sprinkle cookie crumbs into your container of choice (see comment in intro). Spread a layer of pudding over crumbs, then add sliced banana. Spread a layer of cool whip over that, then repeat. Crumbs, pudding, bananas, cool whip.
You should finish with a cool whip layer on top. Sprinkle any extra cookie crumbs you may have and place extra banana slices to finish. The pudding can be enjoyed right away or chilled, then served. Enjoy!
