Honey Tea Loaf
I know I've posted my banana bread recipe on the blog, but it seems unfair I haven't posted any other breakfast breads. Since I make several varieties, it only makes sense to release some of those recipes onto the blog as well. This is a newer loaf I've started making, with a fluffy cake-like texture on the inside and using honey as the only sweetener. It's very simple to make, you could also add chopped walnuts or make a lemon glaze for the top to add to the flavor profile.

Quick Hamburger Buns
Bread is one of my favorite things to bake (it makes my kitchen smell amazing!), but I don't always like the long rise/rest time involved, especially if I'm trying to make something in a hurry. Sometimes I forget to plan ahead, which can complicate things, but recipes like this one have helped me out in a pinch! These buns come together in under an hour (which for made-from-scratch bread, is amazing ) and they're super easy to make. I hope you decide to try making them! Ingre

Orange Scones
This is the best recipe I've found for scones, hands down. They turned out so fluffy and moist! The orange-vanilla flavor came through well - even the smell of the scones in the oven was amazing. The glaze is fairly easy to make and really takes the flavor to another level. If you have a stand mixer, I would recommend using it for the scones. It's not necessary, but is helpful. Ingredients: For the scones: 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour ¼ cup sugar 2 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. sa

Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies
This is probably my favorite pumpkin cookie recipe! The cookies turn out soft and so flavorful, especially if you add extra cinnamon. This recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies. Ingredients: 3/4 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 and 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 1 cup quick oats 1 cup pumpkin puree Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cream together the butter, white sugar,

Easy Stir Fry
Yes, the rice is purple! You can use any rice you want for this recipe, but I chose a wild rice mix with riceberry rice that turns all the rice grains purple. Normally I would use regular white rice for this recipe though. I love how simplistic this stir fry recipe is. Not including the rice, there are really only 3 main ingredients! However, feel free to add extra veggies to the stir fry. Mushrooms, onion, sugar snap peas, or broccoli would all be wonderful additions. Ingred

Chicken Curry Soup
It's been chilly this week! I've really been craving a beef stew, but sadly I haven't felt like going to the store to buy a beef roast, so I'm making due with other meals for now. This chicken curry soup is amazing and the spices make this hot soup perfect for colder days. I used chicken thighs for this recipe because they are more flavorful, but chicken breasts would work too! Feel free to add any additional vegetables you wish, this soup (like most soups) is fairly versatil

Cabbage Rolls
Although I've been cooking since college, I'm not familiar with many cabbage recipes. Cabbage rolls or cabbage with ground beef and bell peppers are typically my go-tos to use a head of cabbage up. Don't get me wrong - it's nice that cabbage is cheap and provides a lot of food, but I struggle with ideas for it sometimes. If you have any cabbage ideas, please let me know in the comments! I would love some new ideas to try. This recipe is nice because it uses a lot of cabbage a
