Easy Cheesy Oven Corn

With this heat we've had lately, I haven't felt like cooking anything lately. But then I got sick of eating sandwiches and fruit, so today I gave up and decided to cook! It also helps that today wasn't as hot as it has been lately.
I actually have a lot of corn in my freezer right now (I sort of forgot about it for the past few months) and now that I need to organize my freezer, it's time to use up some of that corn! Since I used freezer corn, I roughly doubled the recipe for this cheesy oven corn, but the recipe I've typed below is the original amount for everything. That being said, if you have a favorite corn recipe, please let me know!

Ingredients:
1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn
1 and 1/2 cups of shredded cheese (I used cheddar jack)
About 1 cup milk
1 egg
3 Tb all-purpose flour
2 Tb butter, sliced
Salt
Pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Drain the corn, and add to an 8x8 casserole dish. Add half of your cheese, along with salt and pepper (I did about 1/2 tsp of each) and mix.
In a separate bowl, mix your milk, egg, and flour. Beat well. Pour over corn mixture and stir until everything is well combined. Top with remaining cheese and pieces of sliced butter (spread out!).
Bake for 40 - 50 minutes, or until the middle has set.
Let sit for a few minutes out of the oven before serving. Enjoy!
