I've been really wanting to sew these past few weeks, but I've also been wanting to crochet - and since more episodes of Bridgerton are out, I find myself crocheting in front of my tv more. Maybe next week I'll sew something. This week I decided to work on baby socks for a friend. It was my first time making them, so the first pair turned out kind of wonky, but the second pair was better! I like this pattern because it's super quick and easy enough I can watch tv and complete the socks *almost* without looking down.
*The size for these socks are 0 - 6 months

Materials:
Medium(4) yarn of choice (I used an acrylic blend)
4 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Crochet/tapestry needle
Instructions:
Make a magic loop.
Round 1: Chain 1. Single crochet (SC) 6. Slip stitch to connect.
Round 2: Chain 1. SC, increase every stitch. Slip stitch to connect.
Round 3 - 8: Chain 1. SC. Slip stitch to connect.
Heel
Row 1 - 4: Chain 1. SC 6.
Fold heel in half and SC both sides together.
Slip stitch back up to the top of the row.
Sock continued...
Round 9 - 15*: Chain 1. SC 16. Slip stitch to connect.
*If you want shorter socks, you can take off a couple rounds here. If you want larger socks, add a couple of rounds.
Chain 1, cut, and knot yarn end to finish. Weave in any loose ends.
Repeat for second sock.
