Crochet Heart Cookies

As many of you may know, I find most of my ideas for the blog by scrolling through Pinterest. Lately, I've been seeing a lot of crocheted play food and it's been really cool to see all the different foods creators have crocheted over time. The peel-able oranges are my favorite (if you haven't seen these, look it up). I've also been playing with the idea of crocheting food to display around my kitchen or in my dining room. This sparked the idea for the heart cookies I made. I decided to make these because they require very little sewing, no stuffing, and they're pretty cute! It's always nice to find small, simple projects like these for mindless crocheting while watching tv.

Repeat these steps with the pink/red yarn for the center.
