Pasta is such a comfort food for me. However, I don't always like all the dishes that come with it. The pot for boiling, the pan that cooks the meat and heats the sauce, and not to mention other dishes used for cooking sides! One-dish meals are the way to go. This recipe is meant to be easy and fast for busy days, but if you have extra time on your hands and feel up to the task, I would suggest cooking the chicken yourself and using fresh spinach. It really elevates the flavor.

Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) package gnocchi
1 (5 oz.) can chicken (alternatively, any cooked, shredded chicken will work)
1 cup frozen spinach (fresh also works)
1 (14.5 oz.) jar alfredo sauce
1/4 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella is best, but colby works well too)
1/4 cup grated parmesan
About 3 Tb. butter
Turmeric
Onion powder
Italian seasoning
Pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Take an 8x8 baking pan and dump all ingredients in.
Mix gently until everything is well incorporated. Sprinkle a thin layer of cheese on the top.
Bake for 15-18 minutes. Additionally, turn broiler on for 3-4 minutes for a crisp, brown top.
