Baby Socks/Booties
I've been really wanting to sew these past few weeks, but I've also been wanting to crochet - and since more episodes of Bridgerton are out, I find myself crocheting in front of my tv more. Maybe next week I'll sew something. This week I decided to work on baby socks for a friend. It was my first time making them, so the first pair turned out kind of wonky, but the second pair was better! I like this pattern because it's super quick and easy enough I can watch tv and complete

Quilted Tote with Pockets
I've actually been wanting to make a tote like this for a while - something I can carry over my shoulder that is sturdy and has pockets! I'm so happy I got the chance to make one this week. I love how customizable sewing projects, including bags, are. You can really choose any fabric or combination of colors you want and just have fun with creating the project! I have a few pieces of it, but I think I originally got it in a bag at a thrift store for 50 cents or something? It was a good deal. I can't wait to think of more projects I can use this fabric i

Alternate Stitch Washcloth
A couple of days ago, I made the mistake of trying to learn the jasmine stitch while watching a tv show. I still really want to learn the jasmine stitch, but wanted something a little easier for a washcloth or something similar to make while watching (being distracted by) my show. After a few variations, I decided to use a combination of simple stitches both for visual appeal and overall simplicity. This washcloth pattern can also be used as an oversized potholder, as it's ma
